The configuration dialog - or "Dock Properties dialog", its proper term - is in the form of a tabbed
notebook which is divided into a number of "pages" with each "page" being a logical container for
the various settings.
To access the Dock Properties dialog, place the mouse cursor over the Dock's background,
Centre Button or a Dock item and click the right mouse button. Select Settings from the menu
that appears. There may be a second or two's delay in displaying this window because a large
number of items need have their translated texts loaded and also the window may need to adjust
itself for right-to-left languages.
The main "pages" are as follows:-
· About: this simply contains the version number of
this release of Circle Dock as well as some
information about it and its origins. · Dock Shape: contains the settings relating to
the shape (Circle, Ellipse etc) that Circle Dock
uses. · Elements: contains all the settings to enable you
to tailor how Circle Dock renders each of its
component parts. · Visibility: contains the setting for showing
and hiding Circle Dock. · General: contains all the general, dock-wide settings · Language: enables you to change the Dock's language. · Inspector: enables you to view, print and create a backup of all
the Dock's current settings as
well as for all the currently defined Dock Items.
Important Note: The new Dock Properties dialog is organised somewhat differently to the
original Settings dialog that was included in all earlier releases. For consistency and ease,
some of the individual settings have been moved so please take the time to review both
the Properties dialog and this help so that you understand the changes.
